Are you tired of reading children's books filled with images of babies being fed with bottles, sleeping separated from parents, and always in some contraption rather than being held in arms? Are you looking for books treating the topic of birth in settings other than a hospital? If so, then here's a list for you! Some of the books below completely embrace natural or attachment parenting philosophies, while others at least contain some attachment images and ideas. If you come across a children's book that is attachment-parenting friendly, please add it to the list!

Do pediatricians give enough breastfeeding support?
The short answer is no. It’s up to you to make sure you get the support you need.

World Health Organization releases new growth charts for breastfed babies.

World Health Organization growth standards
Make sure your pediatrician is using these growth charts to monitor your baby’s health. Formula fed babies show different growth patterns than breastfed babies. Make sure your doctor is using the correct standards of measurement.
